About ME
Life gets messy. It doesn't always go the way we had planned. So how do you get back on track once this happens? This is where we, you and I, start the process of therapy. We start right where you are and explore your options to find ways to utilize your strengths to get you back on track. I am here to listen, believe in you, empower you, and help you find the path that leads you to your ideal place.
I am most passionate about assisting clients in healing from trauma or adverse experiences as well as relationship counseling. I also treat a range of other presenting concerns, including, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, emotional abuse, PTSD, childhood trauma, issues stemming from chronic medical conditions, crisis, marital conflicts, relationship stress, social anxiety, workplace issues, discrimination, and more. I am constantly learning and attending trainings to learn new ways that facilitate healing and stay on top of emerging research in the mental health arena. This allows you to have options of treatment and to choose based on what resonates with you.
I was led into this profession because of my compassion and empathy for the human struggle. I make every effort to provide a warm, accepting, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment for you. I want to understand you and your needs and assist you in navigating through life's difficulties.
Above all, I want you to feel safe in processing the issues that are affecting you.
THIS is your safe place.

Clients often ask about including medication as part of their therapy regimen or about alternatives to medications. While I do not prescribe medicine, I offer referrals to appropriate professionals that provide these services.
